His primary research interest is in behavioral finance. The biggest challenge the scholars and practitioners facing is how to price financial assets. The traditional financial theories failed to explain why the fundamental value deviates from market prices. Significant advances have taken place in the understanding of the return generating process during the last two decades. In particular, the notion of the rational investor on which much of modern finance theory rests is no longer sacrosanct, therefore, behavioral approaches are now considered legitimate in explaining asset pricing. His work has been published in international journals such as Review of Behavioral Finance, Global Finance Journal and International Journal of Emerging Markets.
